Lake Tahoe And Marriott Top The Ski Season Checklist Save On Three- And Seven-Night Ski Packages At South Lake Tahoe's Heavenly Ski Resort

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. – December 21, 2010 – South Lake Tahoe's Heavenly Mountain Resort is open for the 2011 ski season and winter sports die-hards can now save on three- and seven-night ski packages at Marriott Grand Residence Club, Lake Tahoe. With 30 feet of natural snow annually at Heavenly, skiers and snowboarders are actively pulling out their gear, dropping their skis and boards off at the local shop to be tuned up and making hotel reservations.
A three-night package starts at $759*, which includes a spacious studio residence and two days of lift tickets for two adults. One-bedroom residences start at $839* and also include two days of lift tickets for two adults. Seven-night packages are also available.
Guests are mere steps from the Gondola at Heavenly Mountain Resort, whisking skiers and snowboarders up the mountain in just 12 minutes. From the slopes to the observation decks, panoramic views of Lake Tahoe and the surrounding Sierra Nevadas can be seen while skiing or snow boarding. After a day on the mountain, guests enjoy the convenience of being located in the heart of the Heavenly Village with neighboring retail shops and restaurants – such as Wolfgang Puck Express or FiRE + iCE for après ski – ice skating rink, cinema or even world-class Nevada gaming and entertainment only a block away.
The 199 residences at Marriott Grand Residence Club, Lake Tahoe feature a selection of studios, one-, two- and three-bedroom and penthouses floor plans ranging from 360 to 2,496 square feet of living space and sleeping up to 12 guests. Each residence combines the resort's classic alpine theme with modern sophistication and fine amenities such as a fully equipped kitchen, living and dining areas, multiple televisions and a DVD player, fireplace and private balcony in most residences. Other conveniences include underground valet parking; health club with steam room and spa services; year-round outdoor heated swimming pool and two whirlpool spas; concierge services; and daily maid and laundry services.
