Lake Tahoe Marriott Resorts Host Live Entertainment Every Weekend This Summer In Heavenly Village First Hour Of Parking In Village Garage Free

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. – June 30, 2004 - Sponsored by Lake Tahoe area Marriott resorts, the Heavenly Village has an energetic summer weekend line-up ready to roll that includes a Certified Farmer's Market, live jazz and blues, and an eclectic assortment of live entertainers to delight locals and visitors alike.
Beginning this Friday, July 2nd, the popular farmer's and craft market returns to the Village Plaza in front of the Heavenly Gondola. Running weekly from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., the market offers regional fruit and vegetable vendors, handmade soap, locally crafted decorative gourds and more.
On Saturday afternoons beginning June 26th, a variety of live bands, DJs and other high-energy entertainers will perform from noon to 4:00 p.m. The sights and sounds will accompany shoppers, diners and those just out for an afternoon stroll around the village.
Rounding out the weekends will be live jazz and blues concerts on Sunday afternoons. Performing in the Village Fountain area from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m., local bands will play classic favorites and original compositions – a perfect complement to a lazy weekend afternoon. KRLT will be on site with giveaways and a remote broadcast.
All summer long, the first hour of parking in the Heavenly Village garage is free.
FiRE + iCE is open daily with patio seating, cool, frosty cocktails, delicious appetizers and its trademark improvisational grill. Located adjacent to the Village Fountain, FiRE + iCE provides a picturesque setting for relaxation, people-watching and enjoying the concerts.
The summer line-up concludes over Labor Day weekend with a family extravaganza that will include a bounce house, jugglers, entertainers and more.
